1. Introduction
Vessel Matrix Corporation (“Company” or “We”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes:
· The types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you download, install, create an account on, or use the Vessel Matrix application (the “App”).
· Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
2. tl;dr
Vessel Matrix is designed to protect user data while supporting meaningful interaction within the App.
· We do not sell user data. We do not sell user data to third-party advertisers, and we are committed to protecting user privacy and maintaining user trust.
· AI interaction data is not used for training by default. By default, your interactions with the App’s AI are not used to improve or train Vessel Matrix systems or for depth psychology research. You can manage your data preferences in your account settings.
· AI-generated reports such as Weekly Summary, Monthly Reports, Inner Operating Reports, and Meta Reports are proprietary system-generated materials owned by Vessel Matrix Corporation. Users may access and personally share such reports for non-commercial purposes only.
· We may collect certain profile information. This may include information such as gender, date of birth, nickname, personal description, and persona-related inputs. This information may be used to provide and improve features within the App and is not necessarily associated with geographic location data.
· Free trial data is limited. Free trial user data is generally retained for up to four (4) days and deleted if the user does not convert to a paid subscription. We may retain the trial user’s email address to identify returning users.
· Chat history is visible for a limited time. Your AI chat history will be visible in your account for no longer than seven (7) days. After that, it will no longer appear in the App, but may remain on our backend servers unless you choose to delete it.
· We do not store payment card information. Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple Pay. Vessel Matrix does not store your payment card details.
· Data is stored and processed in the United States. Our application infrastructure is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), and user data is stored and processed on servers located in the United States.
· We use security safeguards. We use a multi-layered security framework to help protect user data, including encryption when data is stored and when it is transmitted.
· We may collect limited device and usage information. We may collect limited technical information about your device and use of the App through cookies, similar technologies, or standard app analytics tools. We use this information to operate, maintain, and improve the App. Where appropriate, this information is minimized, anonymized, or aggregated.
· We aim to collect only what we need. We strive to collect only the minimum amount of information necessary to operate and improve our services and the App.
This policy applies only to information we collect in this App and in emails sent in connection with this App.
This policy DOES NOT apply to information that:
· We collect offline or on any other Company apps or websites, including websites you may access through this App.
· You provide to or is collected by any third party, including other apps, websites, or content that may link to or be accessible from or through this App (see Third-Party Information Collection).
Our websites and apps, and these other third parties may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, create an account, or use this App. By downloading, creating an account, or using this App, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of this App after we revise this policy means you accept those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of over your information.
· Tracking Technologies. You can choose whether or not to allow the App to collect information through other tracking technologies by opting out in settings. If you disable or refuse cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some parts of the App may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
· Location Information. You can choose whether or not to allow the App to collect and use real-time information about your device’s location through the device’s privacy settings. If you block the use of location information, some parts of the App may become inaccessible or not function properly.
8. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information
You can review and change your personal information by logging into the App and visiting your account profile page.
You may also send us an email at explore@vesselmatrixcorporation.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
9. Deletion and Retention of Your Information
· Free Trial Users. Data associated with free trial accounts is generally retained for up to four (4) days. If the user does not convert to a paid subscription within this period, all account data will be deleted, except for the user’s registered email, which will be retained solely for the purpose of identifying the user should they return to the App.
· Chat History Display. User interaction data (chat history with the AI) will be displayed in the user’s account for no longer than seven (7) days. After this period, the chat history will no longer be visible to the user within the App but will be retained on our backend servers for account continuity. Users may elect to delete their chat history at any time through their account settings or by contacting the Company.
· Inactive Accounts. If a user has not logged into or otherwise actively used their account for a continuous period of twelve (12) months, the Company will delete or de-identify the user’s account data, including personal information, interaction chat history, user-generated content (such as dream imagery, moments, and trash bin entries), and any other data associated with the account.
· Email Retention Exception. Notwithstanding the above, the Company will retain the user’s registered email address after the 12-month inactivity period for the limited purpose of identifying the user should they return to the App and re-activate their account. Retained emails will not be used for marketing, advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.
· System-Generated Reports. System-generated reports, including Weekly Summary, Monthly Reports, Inner Operating Reports, and Meta Reports, are proprietary materials generated by the Company’s systems and may be retained by the Company after account inactivity, account deletion, or expiration of subscription access, subject to applicable law. Where feasible, retained reports may be stored in de-identified or pseudonymized form.
· User-Initiated Deletion. Users may elect to delete their data at any time, either through their account settings or by contacting the Company. Upon request, the Company will delete all account data, including the retained email, subject to limited exceptions permitted under applicable law (for example, where retention is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or completion of a transaction).
10. Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.
Our infrastructure is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s leading cloud service provider, ensuring industry-standard security and reliability.
To ensure high availability and disaster recovery, user data is stored and processed across AWS secure data centers located in N. California (us-west-1) and N. Virginia (us-east-1). This dual-region architecture provides geographic redundancy to protect against localized service interruptions.
The Company implements a multi-layered security framework to protect user information:
· Data Encryption: We employ AES-256 hardware-level encryption for all data at rest. All data in transit is protected using TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption protocols to prevent unauthorized interception.
· Physical Compliance: The underlying AWS infrastructure adheres to strict global security standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, and PCI DSS Level 1.
· Auditability and Monitoring: All system access and data operations are logged and monitored 24/7 via AWS CloudTrail, providing a complete audit trail to ensure accountability and traceability.
· Data Resiliency: We utilize AWS Cross-Region Replication (CRR) technology, ensuring that user data remains resilient and can be rapidly recovered even in the event of an extreme regional disaster.
The safety and security of your information also depend on you. Where we have given you verification code for access to certain parts of our App, you are responsible for keeping this code confidential. We ask you not to share your code with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information to other users of the App.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through our App. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures included through the App.
11. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may update our privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, it is our policy to notify you through a notice on the App’s home page.
The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you and for periodically visiting this privacy policy to check for any changes.
